A lot has been said on recent tensions between #India and #Pakistan. A lot of propaganda has been on play. I write here about how things appear from the Indian side, with supporting facts where possible. On 14th Feb, 2019, a suicide bomber attacked a CRPF convoy (CRPF is an Indian para-military force) in #Pulwama in the Indian state of Jammu and Kashmir, killing nearly 45 soldiers and injuring 40 or so others. Responsibility for this attack has been taken by Pakistan based terrorist group Jaish-e-Muhammad (#JeM). Pakistan government denied any role or prior knowledge about the attack, even claiming that JeM has not confirmed their involvement. India chose to act as big military powers are expected to act and conducted #AirStrikes on 26th Feb in #Balakot in Pakistan, where JeM was reportedly running a terrorist training camp.
