Bit late getting to this, but for week nine in my book a week for a whole year challenge I've chosen the sequel to The Ring, Koji Suzuki's Spiral. I had no idea they made a film of this one too, I must check it out.
Book eight in my book a week for a whole year is Living Dangerously by noted explorer Ranulph Fiennes. I've had this book for a while but never gotten around to reading it.
Week seven and another horror novel. Adam Nevill's The Ritual, a grotesque Black Metal folk-horror set in Sweden.
For week 6 I've gone with a book I should've known about. I've seen the movies obviously, but I had no idea they were based on a novel. Koji Suzuki's Ring.
For week 5 of my book a week for a whole year I've chosen Babel: Or the Necessity of Violence by Rebecca F. Kuang. A story about language, magic, and the evils of colonialism.
Fourth book this year is Ringmaster by Abraham Josephine Riesman, the tell-all biography of Wrestling's Hitler, Vince McMahon.
Third book of the year is Patrick Stewart's autobiography Making it So. As a massive fan of TNG I've been looking forward to this one, as well as learning more about his life in Yorkshire.
