I participated today rucksack-portable in the #70cm / #432MHz and #3cm / #10GHz sections of the IARU region 1 UHF/microwaves contest.

My rig was:
- 70 cm: FT-818 (barefoot) with 6 watts output and a 4-quad series antenna on a small pole.
- 3 cm: FT-790R plus DB6NT transverter, about 2.5 watts output into a small 30 cm dish with a penny feed.

My first #432MHz #UKAC of 2023. A light snow shower while setting up, but a clear night after that. Band conditions were poor, but still fun to be out portable. #hamr #hamradio #807ARO
