From 1st to 5th September, I attended the #3DGeoInfo Conference in Kashiwa-no-ha, a "real life" prototype / model smart city implementation ( https://www.kashiwanoha-navi.jp/en ), at the Kashiwa Campus of the University of Tokio. The conference was quite small, hust ~200 participants, but the niveau of the conference contributions was great! Just back from a conference #3DGeoInfo and vacation trip to #Tokio / #Japan. Tokio is just amazing! 🤩 I would go as far to say, that this was a life transorming "trip" for me. And very probable not the last time I went to Japan. 1/5

帰国後のお仕事として、東京大学柏キャンパスで開催されている国際会議 3DGeoInfo 会場にて Project PLATEAU と海外ゲストとのインタビューを担当しました。古橋の対談相手は、OGC Chief Standards Officer の Scott Simmons 氏。今年3月のローマでの OGC Member Meeting でもさまざまなインプットをいただいた重要人物でありOpen Standardの重要性とコミュニティとの関係性についてPLATEAUとその周辺の地理空間情報技術の幅広い視野で語っていただきました。
