@june Fun Fact: SplitFiction copied that to an extend and requires only one of the two players to have bought it.

• The second one joining in can get the Free Version which doesn't allow them to host a game but merely join a friends' game.
  • Which is good as it reduces the friction to get people to play that coop-only game.

The PC version of 007:NightFire also came on 2 CDs and only 1 was needed for playing the came, so for Multiplayer 2 people could use 1 Game.

• Tho unlike Marathon it only used EA's version of SafeDisc and no "Online Activation" whatsoever…

I think more Multiplayer Games should work this way!

• At least offer free "Join a Friend's Game" kinda Multiplayer…
