and that's because we wanted to know if disconnecting the front sway bar would improve handling, and with the bar disconnected it honestly felt like I was flirting will rolling the car over so sway bar stays connected
Still, it seems our car is now well sorted, set a new PB at Waterford of 1:24.97
old PB was a 1:27.9, amazing what a proper alignment does for speed

Nearly 4.5 hours of constant running at a private track event today

Oh and the run plan only had two drivers so I drove my #miata too
JeffSometime overnight the rotors got really warped and now the brakes are butt terrible. We also bent the linkage we have between the clutch pedal and the clutch cylinder, and had to jank that back together. It's just enough to get on track and run in 4th. We're still turning laps.
No sunrise pictures this race. I was busy driving. Which also means I got the sunrise stint and it was beautiful.
I took a nap after the last post. Ranchero is running with warped rotors, no front sway bar and we had to put the clutch pedal back together because it fell apart when explaining to the next driver how it was ailing. But we're running.
FreeB still parked.
The FreeB's oil pressure shenanigans got worse, so it's parked for the moment. The ranchero lost the wire to its sending unit and gave us a scare. It's back out.
PG&E isn't going to make it out here until after 1am. Because of course. EDIT: power appears to be back on at 9:30pm
Our best guess is it is doing mid-century GM designed engine things and we're going to send it[the FreeB].
Oh. And the power is out at the track, so it's on full course caution and the lap.counter probably isn't working.
This is fine.
EDIT: race monitor is ticking off laps, so the counter is working. Not sure why we're yellow flagged.

Ranchero just went back out after losing the power connection to the fuel pump. Oops.
FreeB is back in for losing oil pressure high in the rev range. And now we're having trouble reproducing it in the garage...
