@Zendadaist I'm pretty happy with #1pMobile (who use the EE network). Their PAYG data bundles are slightly cheaper than #Three (£10 gets you 50GB/30 days).

The only problem I've had was a hard time getting any data through in Oslo when the Pride Parade (100k attendees) coincided with the Tons of Rock music festival (150k attendees), presumably because the cheap MVNO gets lowest priority when roaming.

Just discovered how hard it is to get a pay-as-you-go SIM in the UK without having to top up monthly.

Them: "We are replacing the requirement to top-up your #1pmobile account with a minimum of at least £10 every 120-days, with a new minimum spend requirement of £10 every 90 days."

Me: So you're arbitrarily increasing my yearly cost from £30 to £40. i.e. by over 33% !??!

I bet someone in the department wanted it to read "We are _lowering_ the requirement...", in the hope folk spotted the 120 to 90 change, and didn't question the maths. (Like the US 1/4 vs 1/3 burger thing)

Anyone I know have experience with 1p Mobile? At the end of registering a new account the website said to allow one minute for the account to be active. Couple of hours later we still can’t login with the details we registered with, and no confirmation messages have been received (by email or text). Logged a support request on the website about half an hour ago, and that too hasn’t sent any form of acknowledgment of us sending a request. None of this fills me with confidence. #1PMobile
