#123Reg charged me to renew a doman, and then emailed me to complain that my payment method is invalid but I can see the invoice, the transation in my bank, and the domain is renewed on their dashboard

Welcome to 123 Reg's home for real-time and historical data on system performance.

EDIT: moving all domains to Mythic Beasts

After being a loyal #123Reg customer for 20+ years, it seems they have decided #enshittification is the way forward and they've turned off email forwarding on many domains I manage - they now want £3 per domain per month 😡

I'd rather move every domain somewhere else than be treated like this. Does anyone have any better options to recommend?

I avoided the #tso to #123reg migration by migrating to #cloudabove

Superb service from the team at cloudabove, quick, informative replies to support queries unlike my previous registration host who just ignored support tickets.

Well done cloudabove team!

#TSOHost might be on the way out for #123reg, but it really has reached rock bottom in terms of support. I'm still getting invoice reminders for renewals on domains I've transferred out, despite raising a support ticket to get them cancelled on 05 Aug that is so far unanswered.

What fortunate and funny timing - Yesterday I decided (and mostly completed) to migrate my domains away from #TSOHost to my hosting provider, ultimately to close my account after 12 years. Today I get an email saying the TSOHost brand is being retired and all accounts are migrating to #123reg.

Well, I certainly don't want to be back there again, so I'm glad I'm ahead of the curve in getting out while I still can!

Yes, it was the plus addressing issue that finally made me decide to jump ship!

123-reg, my domain registrar, just glibly emailed to tell me they are going to break the email forwarding for my domain and to fix it i have to subscribe to a new service.
so I guess I'm in the market for a new registrar. any recommendations?

Are #123Reg under attack? Years ago I created a some websites for a few friends of a friend, they hosted with 123Reg (not my choice!!) and for days my inbox has been filled with #UptimeRobot notifications of the sites constantly up and down... they're not all that great at the best of times actually! 😂
