Any experts in domain names here?

I’m stuck in limbo. My domain left name.com but is not showing up on the new registrar

The weirdest thing? The Whois is showing PDR Ltd. d/b/a PublicDomainRegistry.com
But that’s not where I transferred it (I sent it to whc.ca)

Did name.com fuck up and sent it to the wrong place? How do I get it back?

For over a decade, my domains have been hosted at what is now pair.com. Others were cheaper, but I could talk to a real person late at night when I needed. So I stayed.
I tried to open a case on a Sunday afternoon and found that live support is now 8-8 EST Monday through Friday. I can email 24/7, but a simple email request has been ignored for over 2 hours. *Sigh*

I'm looking for good alternatives to Cloudflare for domain registration and static hosting. I saw quite a few recommendations for porkbun out there, but it seems that they run their services through cloudflare?

My static site is through hugo, so if there is nice tooling for publishing that via CI/CD, that is a plus.

Mainly looking for companies that have demonstrated having values that aren't aligned with far-right folks.

Dear #Gname domain registrar, please grow the fuck up and fix your "report abuse" process.

1) I reported on whois "report abuse" email
2) In reply was asked for information that was in initial report
3) I was asked to fill in proprietary form to "report abuse"
4) Next I was asked to "provide evidence", which I did *not*, I just re-sent the same information
5) The domain was blocked
