I made some pants/trousers that were an experiment in controlling volume with pleats. Fabric is slightly rough, tabby-weave cotton or possibly cotton-linen, from deep stash. The leg pieces are wide rectangles (selvage to selvage, 42”/106 cm wide) with a U-shaped curve cut for the crotch seam (flat felled). Waist and hems are bound. (Waist bound with grey because I ran out of green.) Drawstring. Nearly zero waste. #sewing
