I know that Stephen Miller gets a lot of hate on here, but hear me out.

I think we could hate him more. We have the capacity, we all just need to put in a little more effort.

I wish I could say I'm shocked about today's budget news. But I'm not. I've known how horrible it was for weeks. And I've unfortunately assumed it would pass. None of the safe guards are working. The US as we knew it is over.

The question now is do we let the crazies define our new world as a dystopian hellscape, or will the people push back and say no? How much more do the American people need to see before they wake up from their jaded apathy?

@stacescases2.bsky.social Last week. The ruling was that it isn't a budget related measure so it can't be included in an appropriations bill. The attempt to sell huge amounts of federal land was also bounced. But the gutting of Medicaid and the huge ICE funding remains.

Check the date of the tweet. They were referencing the amendments added at 230 this morning.
