I'm pulling up stakes and henceforth I'll be:

@zedlopez

If you're following me now, you should end up automagically following me there after I do all the move-your-account things later today.

A thing I have actually thought while on Tinder: jeez, why are all these women in San Francisco?

Yeah, why would such a conspicuous plurality all be in the most densely populated part of my search radius? It's a mystery.

(For context, as an East Bay loyalist, I like to pretend that San Francisco is as remote and inaccessible as San Franciscans like to pretend the East Bay is.)

I feel that Gen X was well trained for the day when an evil rich dude bought the mall where we all hang out so he could demolish it.

This is our moment.

We're gonna need a lot of skateboards. And a scrappy mutt.

And a montage.

Got around to trying @timhutton 's https://github.com/timhutton/twitter-archive-parser

Having already requested and downloaded archives of inform7tips and zedlopez from the birdsite, minutes later (to download referenced media files as needed) it's suddenly easy to see everything I ever tweeted and my DMs.

Never forget, a 13-year study of a dozen cities found that protected bike-lanes led to a drastic decline in fatalities for ALL ROAD USERS. And painted bike-lanes? No safety improvement at all. As for sharrows, it’s safer to NOT have them. Via #StreetsblogUSA, read their article linked below. #bikelanes #bikes #cities #transportation #mobility #sharrows #infrastructure #urbanplanning

Since it's #InternationalMensDay, here's a thread of every part of the gynaecological anatomy that is named after a man, with a bit of trivia about each man. Some of the bits are very specific. Before you ask, there are no parts of the gynaecological anatomy named after women...

My TWSBI Diamond 580AL Clear has been my most frequently used pen for years. But I had tucked it in a sweatshirt pocket and when I grabbed the sweatshirt it flew to the floor and the cap broke.

I was very sad. I'd never noticed replacement caps for sale. But after websearching, people had said one could email TWSBI for a replacement.

So I did, and got a reply one minute later (on a Saturday). And $5 later, I've ordered one!

I should get another pen out of cold storage in the meantime.
