@harrymccracken @simonzerafa I think the only issue with that is that most all of them have already bent the knee in some way. If you want to protest a company because the CEO isn't outwardly fighting MAGA you are going to have a really limited set of options to take your business too.

As a Mainer I'm very proud of this question even though I'm not overly optimistic it changes a great deal. But perhaps it helps show the country it is ok to be against this and rich people (or corporations) overly influencing out elections is not ok. We shall see.

@cobalt @dangillmor I agree. Vance is doing a good job at snake oil sales and I've got to think it's something the right is eating up.

He's giving the lies that Trump will love but he's doing it in a next level way so it sounds right if you aren't paying attention.

He's the type of GOP candidate that scares me. He knows he's lying. He doesn't care. And he knows how to play the game and actually accomplish what he wanted. (Or more likely what his funders wanted.) Trump could never get to #3.

@dangillmor hopefully all of the major media outlets actually do a decent job of fact checking all of things and each of them said and put some colo on this.

Unfortunately most people aren't even going to watch even the debate let alone the actual true reviews of it.
