@MrRooni @caseyliss @rudyrichter Looong-time user of 1P here. 1P8 feels like death by 1000 papercuts. I’m still rocking v8 but look through this thread at the ratio of people with issues running 8 vs 7. It’s obvious that electron and a focus on business users is alienating the user base that made 1P successful in the first place… Is there a way to go back to a native app rather than try to band-aid the buggy mess that currently exists?

You can “redirect” the mastodon.social account to myke.social. The account stays active and you can “undo” the redirect if you ever want to use it but it doesn’t show up in search and you can’t follow the account. You can also permanently “move” your account to another domain if you’re sure you’ll never need the mastodon.social again.
@marcoarment I want to throw a hat in the ring for Vultr and Hetzner. Both have very competitive pricing and responsive support, although I know your scale is different than what I use for hobby cloud servers.
