Made some progress on the lace pattern and vectoring it. Vectoring takes me forever compared to hand drawing it. So fiddly and I'm a perfectionist of sorts... so... yeah.

I don't think AI could do this. I did a lot to improve it while vectoring it. And those value judgements are what separates humans from AI.

I can't post art on X (because it killed the bird) and the X likes AI now. But I've been vectorizing this piece of lace with lotuses, fish and water that I created. Somehow I think it would be cheaper to buy a sewing machine that could do it for me.
Skunk couldn't tank Twitter with all of his other tries. So he did this...

How you beat AI-written stories... ask the person to write a different story structure that is not conflict-based.

1. Failing at Kishotenketsu (Chat GPT) The timing is wrong and there is no emotional height induced.

2. Sudowrites breaking after I tried to hint to it to write Kishotenketsu.

3. Chat GPT failing at Bengali's Widow's Tale.

4. Sudowrites not knowing what Kishotenketsu is. Also, doesn't know Natsume Soseki.

The pink on the mittens doesn't show up well.

Mittens, socks, hat. All hand knit. Mittens and hat are double knit. They can turn inside out so the dominant color is black with pink snowflake.

I didn't do it with a pattern. I did all the #knitting on the fly.

I did knit them top down, rather than bottom up against advice.

You can't replicate them. It's the last of the yarn ad thus the only ones in existence. I can't give you the pattern. I improvised the entire thing.

So I looked up bind off methods online for double #knitting. Hated all of the ones I could find (One wasn't invisible, the other involved an embroidery needle... neither stretched well) so went by instinct, tried a few things and found my own. My method does not separate: Both yarns through--mind the correct color is in the front. Slip colors to match. Color A with color A, knit2t B with B knit2t. Repeat instruction 1. Works well for rib.

It's refreshing reading Brecht. He's an optimist and for once, not a raging asshole. His prose is concise and he actually does cite his betters. Plus he doesn't have the Go Germany, hate everyone else attitude. He comes to admire Chinese Theater, etc and is willing to explore.

The cornerstone of his philosophy is FUN. It must be FUN to watch. It must be FUN to write. You can't be a long suffering writer. https://ia801405.us.archive.org/18/items/in.ernet.dli.2015.150164/2015.150164.Brecht-On-Theatre.pdf

#Knit socks I did in mock cable zigzag rib.

And then my attempt at double knit top down mittens. I cast 4 pieces separately and then put them together. Have I double knitted before? No. I've not done 2 at a time before. And I've only done bottom up mittens before. It's either the most stupid or most brilliant thing I've done. (Not determined) I'm effectively knitting 4 mittens at a time. and dealing with 4 yarn tails at a time.

May the Knitting gods have mercy on me.

Is there a patient #SIMS4 CC guru who would be willing to field my stupid questions? Like why when I load a package, that I cannot see the old mesh in the Warehouse section to delete it when creating clothes on a Mac?

And yes, without linking to old tutorials. 'cause I swear there is no way. And there is no "replace mesh" button. And putting the new one overlays it and shows it in the warehouse, but not the old mesh.

I made an onggi in blender. TT It's so much harder in 2.79, though. And I kinda wish I could put this into the #SIMS4. And then ask someone to write a script.

Another simmer said they'd work on the missing ingredients... TT But the colab would be cool.
