Cloudflare just published a vibe coded blog post claiming they implemented Matrix on cloudflare workers. They didn't, their post and README is AI generated and the code doesn't do any of the core parts of matrix that make it secure and interoperable. Instead it's littered with 'TODO: Check authorisation' and similar

Building a serverless, post-quantum Matrix homeserver

As a proof of concept, we built a Matrix homeserver to Cloudflare Workers β€” delivering encrypted messaging at the edge with automatic post-quantum cryptography.

Imagine if a cashier at Costco murdered two customers, and instead of them being arrested Costco was just like "Okay everyone calm down, we have demoted the cashier's boss from Manager to Assistant Manager".
If you think the US will not go full Nazi then you’ve clearly missed that the US has gone full Nazi.
A state of mind should be encouraged that anything can be sabotaged.

Cloudflare threatens Italy with a good time

"The people of #Minnesota shouldn't fight fire with fire or the federal agents will escalate"

Escalate what? They're cold blood murdering people and disappearing them from the streets, the only possible escalation is a military bombing its own civillians. And even in that case, who says that's off the table right now? The only thing #fascists understand is strength.

Dear EU,

If you'd like to keep Greenland Danish again, the call you need to make is the following:

"Yes, Mr President? Yes. Yes. Very happy to talk to you Sir.

And a good year to you too Sir, I am sure things are going great on your side.

Now, if I may, about Greenland. Yes, yes, Sir.

I am sorry to inform you that if you keep threatening Greenland, the ECB as well as the Bank of England will start selling 1 billion dollars of US Treasury bond until you stop and desist. No sir, per hour."

Speaking of #journalism, I'm less than pleased with the #EU media reporting of the #Minnesota situation. Sure, the barbaric execution footage was shown, but it's bigger than that. Posts from last night suggest that federal agents are acting like an occupying force on american soil. Why is cellphone footage all we have? How hard is it to send a troupe to the middle of the US? History is being made and we deserve to be informed.
In the past, #tiktok has been a reliable source of on-the-ground news for me. It seems clear that this has recently changed. Many us creators are complaining about longer approval times for posts as well as inconsistent suggestion algorythm behaviour. It seems like the US TikTok takeover is almost complete. Which begs the question: where do citizen journalists go in a post-American internet?
Still looking for friends and intel here. I won't lie, witnessing the events in #Minnesota in the last 4 days broke my tiny #EU citizen brain. I knew things in the US were bad but I didn't realize the extent. I hope other europeans have the right takeaway from this: if they succeed in what they are doing in the states, they will try to do it here. We must be proactive and organize accordingly.
