Lamp Bell Zig Zag Horizontal

Description du modèle 3DA little lamp that I made to test different textures and their interaction with light.Best printed with White filament IMO but experiment at your heart's content.diameter: 10cmheight : 10cmBulb socket size : E14To use with E27 bulb increase scale of model x 1.9Or do you own calculation for other bulb socket/size (E14 is 14mm wide).Printing ParametersFor 3DFM Printing, model has no thickness and should be printed in vase mode or “Spiralize Outer Contour“ to save a lot time and filament.I would recommand using the largest nozzle at you disposal and fairly thick layer, the spiralized contour gives a really nice textile like appearance to your print and diffuses the light (when printed in white) nicely.

👋 Hello World. I do design and I believe you do too. So I'm starting this new endeavour called.... Youdodesign!
Here's the first project I'm putting out there, subsequent projects will take all forms and shapes, but this one is a geometry node based add-on for creating Breeze block compositions in #blender
Tell me what you think!
Cheers

BREEZE BLOCKS

BREEZE BLOCKS is a BLENDER GEOMETRY NODE based add-on that unlocks the potential of this too often overlooked building block, it contains:1 CLICK LAYOUT GENERATOROVER 70 MODELS4 PROCEDURAL SHADERSSet up and change complex layout in a matter of seconds, try out dozens of layouts where before you would've just modelled one.ADD INSTANT KARMA TO ANY SPACEBreeze blocks allow you to create visually striking and functional environments. Their intricate patterns allow for dynamic light and shadow play, enhancing realism and aesthetics. These blocks designed to play with the elements are ideal for immersive, atmospheric designs.CLASSIC, GRAPHIC, ARCH.VIZ, SCI-FIBreeze blocks are also a popular choice for facades due to their unique graphic appeal. Their geometric patterns create captivating visual textures that enhance any building's aesthetic.LAYOUT GENERATORCHOOSE YOUR PATHSelect the order in which the blocks are going to be laid out, by default you have 6 settings, combined with rotation you'll get dozens of layout possibilities.SPIN IT AROUNDChoose from a variety of rotation presets, this has no effects with shapes that have 4 lines of symmetry. This rotation can work incrementally or in clusters.MORTAR AS YOU LIKEINTRW you’ll need mortar to hold the blocks together, you can adjust its width and depth or even do without. You can also remove it from the sides to leave the edges exposed if you want.EASY POSITIONINGYou can position the origin of your composition precisely on all axis, on all sides.GET INTO THE NITTY GRITTYAs this is a geometry node based addon, you can investigate and build on the existing setup, we've tried to make it as easy to read as possible.MODEL PACKCOLLECTIONS OF INDIVIDUALITIES70 models is a lot to choose from, so they're grouped by families of similar designs, this way you can first try what collection better suits your mood and then home in to individual designs.MATERIAL PACKTERRACOTTA NATURALTerracotta is traditionally the material for breeze blocks, so we've taken extra care to give you a procedural matreial that'll allow you you to recreate the widest variety of terracotta materail possible. For this you'll be abble to individually adjust the color mix, the gritt, dents and cracks.TERRACOTTA GLAZEDSome manufacturers propose an enameled or glazed version of their terracotta blocks, so we've included that too. Here you'll be abble to adjust color, edge wear and cracks on top of the usual settings.SAND CEMENTAnother popular material for breeze block is cement, these are industrially made and are much more uniform materials. So here you'll get less option namely grain, size and color.GROUTOf course you'll need mortar between the blocks to bind them together and create a structure so we've included a procedural material for that too. here are 3 variations.INSTALATIONDownload file to a "YDD ressource" folder that you create then add this folder to your asset libraries paths (Blender Preferences/File Paths/Asset Libraries/path). To use simply drag into your scene from the asset browser window, like you would any other asset. note that for the layout generator (geometry nodes set up) you need to drag it from the asset brower window to a default object in the 3D viewport to apply it to the said object, a cube or a single vertice will do nicely.
