I have written my first professional #ruby PR. And by “I” I mean “ChatGPT and Stack Overflow” because I haven’t the slightest idea how ruby works.
@philgyford I think the first 2 will be almost impossible. They have the most aggressive cloudflare blocking turned on. The dignity one gave me the browser challenge on first visit in my actual web browser. The genealogy one blocked me in the browser without even giving the challenge 🤦‍♂️

It suggests that a conviction and the threat of a bigger future sanction like break-up makes companies self-regulate.

So perhaps Apple will go further for the US because of a vague fear, than they will for the EU where they maliciously comply with the letter of an explicit regulation.

@bojkotiMalbona I would like to just boycott Cloudflare but too many podcasts are hosted behind it 😬
@b0rk I’ve briefly used Source Safe and CVS and then a long stint with Perforce. I prefer git to all of them, not because it’s intrinsically better - I find the command line full of gotchas and use it sparingly. But the tooling around it is outstanding from GitLab and GitHub down to the various GUI options I’ve used day to day.
