It suggests that a conviction and the threat of a bigger future sanction like break-up makes companies self-regulate.
So perhaps Apple will go further for the US because of a vague fear, than they will for the EU where they maliciously comply with the letter of an explicit regulation.

RSS is apparently 25 years old today. I am a comparative newcomer to it having written my first RSS reader 20 years ago.
As of last week, my Domino has been with me for five years, and I still treasure her.
(Unfortunately, her manipulation of probability is impervious to dust.)
So I have my own hosted RSS reader and also run a hosted Podcast reading service.
For 10+ years I have been fighting with feeds that are hosted behind Cloudflare that block access to server-side crawlers.
My current solution is starting to fail and I’m getting blocked more often again. Before I start trying to fix this myself, is there already an accepted solution? I know I’m not the only person who runs their own hosted RSS reader. What’s everyone else doing?
Moving from a job with a coding standard of “no early returns” to one with “return early, don’t use else” is a head-fuck.
