the hubs and I have been married eight years today, and here is the invite I sent out to a completely unexpected firestorm of “that’s too soon! we need more time to plan! where are you registered!? why are you getting married at a punk bar!? what do we wear!?”

as a gay, I didn’t know ANYTHING about how invested people will get in your wedding. but it was nice.
