Retro hobbyist, simulation/strategy gamer, and as some say an unusual person. I've been know to stream simulation/strategy games, computer aided design (horrible hobby level), or some of my electronics repair; mostly my retro hardware.

Getting back to some projects after a bit of a hiatus. First is getting two of my socket 370 industrial SBC fully tested for a couple of mini retro PCs.

I'm also working on a universal retro panel for industrial SBC but that isn't quite ready for public eyes yet.

Specs of the system are as follows:

* BCM EBC5612
* Intel Pentium III 1.13GHz
* 256MB RAM
* 64GB MicroSD to IDE
* ASUS DVD-RW

Well I have started playing with LoRa/Meshtastic. Currently working on a case for my Heltec Wireless Tracker V1.2 with 18650 battery holder after making some quick 3D mockups.

Long time no post. I'm still around but have been taking a break from the retro tech. Girlfriend picked up this "Radio Shack TRS-80 Computer Cassette Recorder" for me this morning while doing yard sales. It's listed as broken but hopefully it's repairable.

Girlfriend was out looking at yard sales and sent me the picture below, needless to say the external mod is interesting and I had to have it.

I have aquired, for free, a bit of DOS software/games on 3.25 in floppies.

Time to see what works and what doesnt. Not sure if any of the disks need to be archived but I plan to just use my greaseweazel for dumping images.

Been doing some RISC-V things lately. Here is one of my StarFive VisionFive 2 boards running ClassiCube on an AMD RX 6400.

Running mainline Linux 6.14.5 on Debian testing. Currently dealing with an issue where I cannot get any discrete GPU to come out of sleep but I believe its the cheap M.2 -> PCIe x4 adapter I am using.

iBook G4 decided it forgot how to storage, sadly this is already SSD swapped so something happened while it was just sitting in storage.

Long time no post, still working on retro things but nothing ready to show just yet. Still need to complete a couple designs for cases and a few misc adapters.

I've been sidetracked the last last week in my free time working making a USB manual shifter controller using one of the Pi Pico's I have around. Might end up being a thing but we shall see.

Ok replacement hotend arrived for the 3D printer, will this be done in December? Maybe, but more likely early January. :/

Working on the case for my #doscember build and I've lost the slot bracket for my i486 SBC...

Time to redesign the case for a "permanent" install of the SBC with 5 removable 16 bit ISA slots. This also gives me the chance to swap out the PSU with a Micro PSU I found in my stash.

More info as I start cutting and printing test pieces.
