OG Furry since 96, tinkering with technomancy since the 80s. Fan of creative and inventive people.
@dahan This made me imagine a silly idea: use an e-ink display to hold a grid of data (much like a QR code, perhaps) indefinitely. Perhaps an encryption key. Something you'd have to use a camera to view, and just store it in a firesafe. Silly, like I said. :D
@dahan Good point. I'm just trying to think of a good and unique use for all of random SODIMMs I have laying around. I don't like hardware becoming e-waste when it could server some useful purpose.
Hey Engineers! What would it take to make a USB enclosure for old SODIMM modules with a CR2032 battery for temporary file storage?
If you're feeling down or low energy, maybe what you need is some Puredick to power up your day!
@oceanotter Create a group called 'Remembrance', move them in there, and treat it like a digital memorial that you can visit from time to time when your spirit allows.
@leafygreens I call it "PowerPurge!"
@NanoRaptor @Windfisch @neverpanic @foone Dual-Channel DVI-ADV. I imagine it being used for 2 layer 3D screens, similar to the 3DS in function.
@oceanotter Did you remove the clock capacitor from it to avoid future damage? :)
@oceanotter OG-XBox? Or 360?
@billgoats This is incredible and you should feel incredible for it :D
