are you using a self-hosted mastodon, or another server implementation?
@liaizon
what's the smallest, impactful thing you can do right now?
Do it. Rinse repeat

Note to schools that have a BYOD policy (for the record, I'm against them, as they amplify inequity), if my child brings a Linux-powered computer to your school, it will be sufficient. If it isn't, it's your systems that have to change, not our computer. If you don't know what I'm talking about, consider this: https://davelane.nz/explainer-digitech-risks-school-boards (relevant even for those outside NZ).
Explainer: Digitech risks for School Boards

I'm a parent with two children in public schools in Christchurch, NZ. I'm also a software developer with an interest in education.

I'm game.
Note to self: installing uMatrix (or other blockers) will cause some reconfiguration to make stuff work again 🙄

@csepp Do you mean structuring all content in sexp? Hmm.. that sounds interesting!
Anyway, I recently had a look at a org2gem publishing package, here: https://git.sr.ht/~abrahms/ox-gemini and I didn't like how it handles links.. not sure if I would want to write my own ox-gem or go for something different. And now you got me thinking about sexp ;)

@csepp
I'm considering orgmode and export/publish to both html and gemtext..
