Is there a unity factor here? Canada has always had issues at the state level, recently noises from Alberta. India was born through partition and hasn't that worked well.

Nothing like specialist knowledge to undermine period movies. For me its steam engines, the art department spends a small fortune on costume research and then a steam engine turns up that was built years later.
