Aphantasia and Games

Thank you for taking part in this research! The research is titled: "Exploring Emotional and Cognitive Gaming Experiences for Individuals with Aphantasia" We are exploring how individuals with aphantasia experience cognitive and emotional engagement while playing board games and video games. What is Aphantasia? Aphantasia is a condition where people are unable to visualize images in their mind’s eye. In other words, Aphantasia is the inability to voluntarily create mental images. Is this Questionnaire only for people with Aphantasia? No. We are looking for input from all sorts of people, whether they have aphantasia or not, and whether they play games or not. This questionnaire is designed to understand how your unique perspective influences how you experience games. Your insights will contribute to our study on how different types of games may evoke emotions, foster engagement, and impact thinking processes for individuals with aphantasia. The questionnaire should take around 10-15 minutes to complete. Your responses will be used solely for research purposes. Thank you for your valuable input!
