MASTOFRIENDS I am trying to move off this vanity account, to @spacewizard . I am following the instructions and it's saying I'm not. Anybody know how to fix?

It says I can't do the move cause I didn't set up the alias, but I totally did. I even set up an alias to my older account I moved from, @edheil , just in case that mattered.

@cliff1976 I started here on dice.camp, a roleplaying game specific instance, but it never got updated to new versions of mastodon, seemed a little abandoned. The people I follow/followers now seem to be a mix of self-identified Hackers e.g. from Hackers.town and rpg people.

@cliff1976 I have this vanity instance here on spacewizard.space, but I keep thinking I should just hop on a general instance and shut it down because why keep a whole big app going on a whole domain just for one account I mildly use?.....

Something made me remember the creepy and disturbing video for "Alice" by Moby (2008). Went back to watch it to see if it's as creepy and disturbing as I remember. Yes, definitely. (Includes brief shots of something that's real-world shocking/awful, is the worst bit.)
