Whatever the latest service pack of Windows 11 installed on my computer, it caused some crazy issues with my device drivers. I had to reinstall drivers for four different devices.

Cold Weather Advisory? The National Weather Service is no longer using Wind Chill Advisories and Warnings. Instead, NWS is now issuing two new alerts: "Cold Weather Advisory" & "Extreme Cold Weather Warning." This change was made because extreme cold is dangerous regardless of wind conditions. We may approach Cold Weather Advisory criteria Wed night into Thurs, as wind chills could drop into the -20s. A Cold Weather Advisory is issued for southern WI when temps or wind chill reach -25°F. #wiwx

After nearly two decades with Chrome, I've switched back to Firefox. Despite my computer's 64GB of RAM, Chrome has become such an unbearable resource hog. The final straw? It's been struggling with basic tasks like playing YouTube in the background while I worked on lesson plans in Google Slides. Never thought I'd say this, but Firefox feels like a breath of fresh air.

It may not seem like it because we are STILL several inches above normal for yearly precipitation, but the recent dry conditions have led to severe drought conditions across much of the Midwest. This week may help. We may see too much rain this week, so keep those drains leaf-free this week if you can! #wiwx
