@jsnell An out-of-the-blue question, but how are you sharing your OWC ThunderBay on the network?
I've had mine for about a year with a similar setup to yours (running SoftRAID on an M2 Mac Mini). The drives don't show up (for an admin user) with baseline macOS File Sharing turned on and have to be added as explicit shared folders. I see lots of weird bugs where (eg) changing from list to column view in Finder will cause the share to disconnect. Does anything like this plague you?! Thank you!
@europlus I'm using your incredible UTM configuration for GlobalTalk on Mac OS 7.1—thank you!
Mac OS boots perfectly well on an M2 Max 2023 MacBook Pro, but I can't get it to connect to my LAN for the life of me.
I've diligently followed the steps in the AIR Administrator’s Guide—Addendum, and I saw your post on this on Emaculation: https://www.emaculation.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=80472&hilit=bridged#p80472
QEMU config seems ok, but MacTCP Ping times out on every address. Host is using USB-C Ethernet. Any troubleshooting tips? Thank you!
@ia Hello! Prolific user of TODOs in iA Writer—would it be possible to also support a "partial" completion checkbox style, eg `[-]`?
See screenshot, but open to other conventions! This style works manually of course, but loses some of the other magic (newline continuation, indentation, etc). Thanks!
@ia dumb request (!) but I almost always start my notes with a Markdown h1, eg “# Thoughts on product”.
Is there a way to have iA Writer strip the # (and whitespace) from the generated filename? So I'd end up with “Thoughts on product.txt" in the above case.
(To get around this, I often try to remember to write the heading first without Markdown and then edit after saving. But muscle memory is strong!)
