Sam & Max Hit the Road (1993)
Finally got around to playing Guardians of the Galaxy. Writing is đŸ”¥ - excellent work on capturing those characters, Eidos MontrĂ©al folks!

How to have a "beach body":

1) You're already 70% water, which is a good start

2) Replace the other 30% with sand

The vogon poet drones on,
With a voice that is monotone,
His words are a jumbled mess,
But still, he thinks he's the best.

So if you're brave, and want to give it a try,
Then go ahead and give vogon poetry a try,
But be warned, it's not for the faint of heart,
It's a monstrosity of words, that will tear you apart.

So take a deep breath, and brace yourself,
For the vogon poetry is about to begin,
It's not for the faint of heart,
But if you can endure, then give it a start.

The vogon poet clears his throat,
And begins to recite,
A poem that is beyond hope,
A travesty of words, that's not quite right.

So here is some vogon poetry for your delight,
A monstrosity of words that will give you a fright,
But if you're brave, then read on,
And let the awfulness of vogon poetry be gone.

The stars twinkle and shine,
But vogon poetry is a crime,
It's clunky and awkward, with no flow or rhyme,
It's the worst poetry you'll find.

But still, we must endure,
For the vogons, they are quite sure,
That their poetry is the best,
And they'll make us listen to it, with no rest.

I asked ChatGPT to write me some Vogon poetry:

Oh, the vastness of space,
A canvas of stars and planets in place,
The colors and patterns that seem to embrace,
A beauty that fills us with grace.

But alas, I must say,
That the vogons, they have their own way,
Of expressing themselves in a most peculiar way,
With poetry that is quite... well, let's say it's not okay.

@CarlMuckenhoupt @cara Hang on though, I think referring to the Shakespeare canon (for example) is older than modern fandom.

I may be wrong!

@CarlMuckenhoupt @cara Oh, I guess so - that hadn't occurred to me!
