Chris Elliott, but not that one. Prolific tooter long before Mastodon. Still very few original thoughts to be found.

@parcel there’s not a way to add a new delivery in the background via Shortcuts, is there? I see a couple actions but they don’t seem to support variables. I see you’ve stopped development on emailing, and I’d love this as an automated replacement.

An automation triggers from a received email. Shortcuts can parse the text and get the sender and the tracking number… but I can’t find a way to add that info into Parcel directly. Can only open the app and manually paste in the different fields.

@charliemchapman tell me where to subscribe for updates. This sounds wonderful.
@niclake didn’t you ask about something like this a while back?

@kym this feels like a trick question, I’m saying late march.
The only accurate project plans are the ones written after the project has finished
Nope! I’ve sought out a pen shop in a city I was already visiting for other reasons, but that’s never been the primary reason for travel. https://penfount.social/@penfount/113563297479408532

#FPQuestion of the day: Have you ever visited a city/place specifically because you wanted to shop for pens? (Could be the main reason, or a factor that helped make the decision of where to visit.) #FountainPen #Thanksgiving

Generally, repurposing data collected from an employer's networking infrastructure or even from video surveillance systems for indoor location tracking and profiling raises serious concerns about the normalization of intrusive behavioral surveillance, privacy and data protection in the workplace.

The network technology giant Cisco offers to turn Wi-Fi access points installed in offices and other buildings into a system that tracks the location of employees, customers, smartphones, laptops and other devices for a wide range of purposes #workersurveillance
