Ok so here’s the basic idea (please save me if an app does this already)

I want a music app that _only_ lets you play music from your Apple Music library. So I can lock an iPad to just this app and it can be the music player in my kids room. But they can only play music I’ve explicitly added https://mastodon.social/@charliemchapman/113728293116442452

Basically attempting to recreate the utility of my CD stereo I had growing up. So I could play my own music whenever I want in my room. But using Apple Music which we already pay for with the family plan

@jellway I think it’s something either could potentially add as a feature, but right now they let you search for songs outside of your library as well

@charliemchapman sorry for the late reply but I think (I haven’t tested Apple Music library sync recently, just manually managed libraries) my app @picky would do the trick.

It’s optimized for playing albums from your library and doesn’t support/allow searching outside your library
