I was dragging my feet after a busy week, but I'm back to doing some gamedev and documenting it for #DecemberAdventure . Today I got projectile collisions with asteroids working.

2024-12-01 I do so love a themed-month. #december-adventure appears to be about doing some kind of creative coding every day. A nice alternative to Advent of Code, which I've usually found a ghastly ordeal. I'm in. Today I worked on building dialog modals for my game Radio Silence. They look

Small improvement for my #playdate game. Falling out of orbit affects your ship's health, if health drops to 0, you fly into the black hole.
I'll need to revisit this more, but for now I think I'm going to move on to figuring out how items should work. Right now I've got an idea—you pick up items either using some mechanic, or on a luck based system. Items will either improve your ship's durability, or give you access to enabling powers that allow you to descend into the black hole with less risk. One such item I brainstormed in my notebook is called the "De-spaghettifier".
