We recently discussed a locally-focused Mastodon community I help manage with @jeff - https://sanjuans.life. Instead of pointing new users to our Mastodon front page, I proposed creating a separate page that helps introduce Mastodon, what to expect, who to follow, etc. This idea evolved into a directory of free, volunteer-supported online services specifically for residents of our county. That site is here: https://sanjuans.online (feedback welcome) @boris @evan @ericg @PlasticJohnny
San Juans Life (Washington's San Juan Islands)

IMPORTANT - SanJuans.life is closing down. Time-critical action required! Please read details and suggestions for migrating your account here: https://sanjuans.life/about

@patl @jeff Not migrating (yet).. the mstdn.social Local feed is meaningless; looking around for a Local that is actually valuable. May then migrate.
@sgtstretch I've been looking at where I want to move from LastPass, after their multiple recent failures.
We #Washington #MountainBiking people are so lucky to have Evergreen Mountain Bike Alliance doing advocacy, building trails and community. https://www.evergreenmtb.org/

Today I got out for an early ride in the Raging River trail system, which I can see from my home office. I did a quick lap on Flow State.
After a short ride and a mechanical (burped tubeless tire that flatted), I got back on Sat to Duthie Hill Park, and rode my favorite trail there - Ryan's Eternal Flow.
One of the best things about living where I do in the Seattle area is the growth of world-class #MountainBiking trails over the decades. I got out 3x in the last 5 days for spring rides.
@juglugs Dang. Why did you post this just AFTER I went to therapy this week? 😂 That would have saved me a good 20 min of search for the right words.
@selfcare This morning I went for a short but sweet mountain bike ride before work; I've pulled a dinner recipe for stuffed sweet potatoes; and I'm getting ready watch the #SeattleKraken hockey game tonight.
