Really only on here to follow @ww3real. Also, I still like trains.
@ww3real @Alon This surely can't be the end.
@ww3real Not seeing a lot of drones being used in this civil war. Is that just because the combatants can't get them? Also, at this point do MAP, PRAP, CPUS and True America have formally organized military wings with proper chain of command, training and logistics, or are they still just loosely organized militias?
@ww3real As you have slowed updates down to about one a day, I'm wondering, is there a plan to end the story in the near-to-medium future?
@ww3real As an aside, I read this book in high school, and though the plot was ridiculous, I still found it very entertaining. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Texas-Israeli_War:_1999

@ww3real I hope you have another 2-3 years' worth of posts planned out for Hernandez, Ma and Novak's adventures in the Second War Between the States, because I would look forward to reading that. "General Pilar Hernandez Baca, Hero of the Second Republic" has kind of a nice ring to it.
@ww3real This is as good a post as any to ask whether you have a final count of military and civilian deaths from all belligerents, from the start of the war up to the Chinese surrender. For example, what was China's population in 2033 vs. 2039?
@ww3real PRAP will lose in Minneapolis.
@ww3real One of the conceits of this story is that U.S. police departments are competent enough to run a police state in the absence of a civil government. I expect that conceit to collapse not very long after elected municipal governments get formed in Philly or elsewhere.
@ww3real On the 34th anniversary of YouTube's founding, no less! I wonder where/how the data is hosted in 2039 and how many videos from the early years would still survive.
@Truckasauruslex @ww3real Yeah, maybe it's because I have no emotional attachment to the U.S. constitution or the idea of the U.S. as a nation, but if it was me I'd welcome the opportunity to start over from scratch, avoiding the things about the old order that history has taught us were demonstrably Bad Ideas.
