I don't know how you got here, either.

I pretend to make IT work for other people during the day, I pretend to make IT work for myself at night.

Sometimes I pretend to know what I'm doing.
@w I also got annoyed that the .monster TLD is blocked by certain firewalls that I have to sit behind but don't have admin rights to
I'm going to be retiring fediverse.monster and moving to snac2 @w by the end of the month. If you want to keep following my posts for some reason, that's the place to do it.

I have nothing against Pleroma or anything. It works well, but it's more than I really need.

I've been playing with snac (https://codeberg.org/grunfink/snac2) over at 11n.org. I haven't decided if I'm going to move over to it yet, but it's got a lot fewer moving parts than Pleroma does, which is nice.

@elia169 I also installed a second drive for /home which helped a lot
@sl I haven't, but I've heard good things

@elia169 I appreciate the offer, but I ended up reinstalling
I updated #debian on my laptop and the nvidia kernel module failed to update itself. I rebooted and the kernel panics immediately. This is unpleasant
@Velyn I don't know if it rises to the classification of 'good', but I've been using pfSense on an old Zotac Zbox paired with a TP Link RE505X
