Helping test some recent HackRF issues was a great excuse to script up some automated testing using HackRF tools like hackrf_transfer, with a series of scpi commands using lxi-tools to automate and test and measure the device. I have done some general test equipment automation before, but it was nice to fully automate multiple pieces of software together.
Anyone with a new HackRF Pro, or anyone who updated to a 2026 branch for the HackRF One should really update to 2026.01.3 firmware , especially if they have been seeing mixer lock issues. #hackrf
