@tindie
you know, I can believe problems with PayPal. But when I send two emails to [email protected] and get no responses - this is not a PayPal problem. it is the owners attitude problem.
I think it will be the last sales I ever do on Tindie
Looks like my next batch of #PICO9918 PROs came in early. I've put a few up on @lectronz now. Any orders made this week will be shipped before I leave.
I'll probably be keeping this one though #1000

@revk @tindie they have attempted to pay me manually now but failed to add back the PayPal fees, so have effectively been charged twice.

@tindie And here we are, a day later... Yet still...

We have to wonder if we can trust anything you can say, ever. Did you get paid your salary?

If you are on #tindie, move to #Lectronz now - sell and get paid!

Sell in EU without customers having couriers asking for VAT and fees on delivery as all sorted with IOSS.

Sell in US with duty worked out correctly for PDDP, and again, customers not asked for fees and duty by couriers.

PICO9918 PRO

Modern replacement for the classic TMS9918A family of VDPs

@burtyb @tindie Same here. I emailed support on the 24th too and no response. Complete silence.
@tindie Tindie support still hasn't responded to my Disbursal query from April 24th. Not even a "we've received your query".The site allowed me to attempt disbursal before you disabled it and my balance is now showing zero due to a failed disbursal. You guys MUST fix communication channels. Reply to support requests. Surely an experienced team knows this. Communication is key and it's where Tindie has failed massively.
@tindie really?

@tindie This is really getting silly.

You show a disbursement that has not happened - when will it happen? Where has it gone?

You have put the site back without disbursements. They worked before, what changed exactly? Why do you need to "work with payment providers" when Tindie Inc (which what web site says) already had a working arrangement with PayPal. What stopped that working?

So far these "exciting improvements" seem to be removing the ability for creators to get paid.

#tindie

@revk @tindie Feels incredibly "scam like" given there is absolutely nothing on their "About Tindie" page ... www.tindie.com/about/

Seems also likely they would breach the FTC Act around deceptive practices given they are seemingly US based. I wonder given they operate in Europe too if they can be held required to have contact information readily available?
