@notjustbikes Early in the COVID Pandemic, Medtronic "released" one of their ventilator designs as "Open Source"; I worked with a team of mostly MIT engineers to take this info and build ventilators.

It was BS. Mostly "image" PDF's, half-assed BOMs, missing code, 3rd-party parts (like the air pump) without even listing the source.

IT was a PR joke, a complete distraction. All the documentation was saying is "yup, Medtronic built a thing".
