I finished watching the 3-hour documentary The Autobiography of Nicolae Ceaucescu directed by the Romanian filmmaker Andrei Ujică.

It's documentary footage from the Romanian archives, shown without narration and even without much sound. I continually had to look up who the participants were and what the time frame was. A daring choice but unsatisfying.

I agree with what critic Stanley Kauffman wrote about it in the New Republic in 2011 (below).

I could spend all day reading US DOJ press releases about crimes and criminals.

This Florida man got $7.2 million in PPP loans and bought a 12-acre estate with a 12,579 sq. ft. residence.

Two years ago, he learned he was being investigated and "fled to Switzerland. He was arrested on April 11, 2021, pursuant to an Interpol Red Notice, as he attempted to enter Croatia from Slovenia by way of Italy." He was extradited from Croatia.

I'm posting links in the replies.

I periodically look at the US Drought Monitor. A new map is posted at the website every Thursday.

My 10-minute play AN UNUSUAL BIRD was performed Friday and Saturday night in the Los Alamos Little Theatre's annual 8x10 festival in New Mexico.

Here's a photo of my play's production, taken by Bonnie J. Gordon of the Los Alamos Daily Post. Seven other plays were performed.

The festival runs for two more weekends.

Jazmine Torres is the director.

The actors are Elisa Enriquez, Pat Beck, and Allison Zastrow.

Here's the sign for the sculpture:

This sculpture, Variance Line, was designed and constructed by the Art and Ecology Program of the University of New Mexico in collaboration with the Sevilleta National Wildlife Refuge.

The 92 circles represent annual rainfall from 1918 to 2018. You can see the diminishing rainfall trend.

I don't know whether the circles are for the local area or for the entire state of New Mexico. Or why there are only 92.

The sculpture is made of rammed earth and steel and was placed at Sevilleta in 2020.
