@az I have my own, modern version of a pager. I leave my phone always on silent. Which makes sense, because I'm either working or doing something else, not baby-sitting a Tamagotchi (the phone).

Eventually, I'll take a look at the "missed calls" (which are rare, because everyone who was actually supposed to contact me already knows that an email or Telegram message is the right way to do it) and see if it makes sense returning any of those. Which seldom happens, because I only check them late at night and nobody would answer the call anyways.

So that's it. It's my communication device and it works under my own terms.

Hello good people, I've just registered on veganism.social. I've been looking for a space just for vegans for a long time. I've been vegan for over a decade, I'm against cruelty and androcentrism.
