@isotopp Great thread, just a minor detail: Due to the ongoing electrification of all industries in China, it is likely, that peak installed capacity per capita might end up higher than currently in Europe, where the full electrification is not yet universally accepted.
@masek I think, here you are too much in the “computer game mindset”.
In the real world, if your original goals are out of reach, you do not destroy everything else to somehow impact your original goals. There were wars fought like this, but usually, this does not work well.
If the goals are “only” to destroy the nuclear industry, then Israel should stop right now. Everything else is a waste of material, capabilities and goodwill.
Just if if is not clear: I am no supporter of Iran at all.
@masek Well Israel changed their statements and actions regarding that the last days from day to day: First only nuclear, then missiles (no matter if relevant for nuclear warheads), then oil industry. This is not against the nuclear program alone anymore. My impression is system change now, but I doubt they have the means for that.
@sixtus Auch wenn ich sehr dafür wäre: Das wird mit der deutschen Bahn und der NIMBY-Attitüde hierzulande nichts (eigentlich bräuchten wir ein paar Ost-West und Nord-Süd Güterverkehrsstrecken für die langen Distanzen).
Und da es ja so aussieht, als wenn die LKW-Flotten schneller elektrifiziert werden als der regionale Zugverkehr, ist das wahrscheinlich auch die umweltfreundlichere Alternative, so absurd es anmutet...
@ZockerVater Fortsetzung zum 3. Punkt:
Da dann keinen Themenwechsel zulassen. Es kommt darauf an, dass sie mitbekommt, das sie (bzw ihre Peergroup) irgendwo wirklich falsch lag und dadurch auch bei anderen Punkten nicht mehr alles als gesetzt annimmt.
Keine Ahnung, ob das bei Deiner Mutter hilft, aber das ist die Art, wie ich in solchen Situationen vorgehe.
