Yesterday i was forced to hard-reset a frozen #FreeNAS box. After the reboot the #Nextcloud dataset was empty.
Free space on disk was still the same, and a #zfs scrub found no error, so where had the 600GB gone...?
It turned out the NC dataset had been created, but not properly mounted. Instead the NC data ended up in a simple folder on the root dataset. After the reboot the (still empty) Nextcloud dataset was auto-mounted over that folder, so all the files were hidden. #ZFS never forgets :D

Yesterday i built my own little server for #35c3, using my trusty old T60 (hope someone from #warpzone has enough space in the luggage, since i cant go to congress this year...)
I used the opportunity to test a new distro: Void Linux.
On the T60 + HDD it feels almost as fast as Archlinux on my T420s with SSD :D They seem to have done something right...

Hmm, i wonder what is the easiest way to revoke an android app´s permission to "CHANGE_WIFI_STATE"...besides decompiling with apktool and editing the manifest...
