@blnkfrnk @_aD Wondering if Sweeney Todd has fallen on hard times and wears a hairnet at the Moon Pie factory. (shudder)

@_aD @blnkfrnk We never had asparagus. :(

I suspect dad didn't like it.

@blnkfrnk @_aD Considering excess consumption of Moon Pies, I am curious what excess consumption of Beet does for you. Maybe you become a spelunker or a vampire or something. I'll have to think about this.
@blnkfrnk @_aD I found a huge fingernail in a Moon Pie once so have lost my appetite for them since. But knowing that, I may have to hold my nose and get busy.
@_aD @blnkfrnk I am assuming no warning is necessary.
@_aD @blnkfrnk My mom would ALWAYS say at the dinner table when we had beets some very personal comments about going to the bathroom tomorrow and not thinking you're dying of some sort of purple bleeding disease. Like the first time she brought it up wasn't memorable. I get my blurting inappropriate things tendency from her.
@blnkfrnk @_aD Chrysler was always trying to reinvent his dad's borscht recipe. He never succeeded but we had lots of borscht. I recommend you look at a recipe for Harvard Beets. They are amazing and they have to be cut up small, in little dice, and you're halfway there.
@blnkfrnk @_aD Well, did you eat it? How much of it? How was it? Are you canning leftovers? Pickled Monster Beet sounds like a keeper. Please, details, details!
@_aD @blnkfrnk It looks surprisingly nice inside. I thought it would look gnarled and sinister. Please report on its edibility after you've put it in its place.
