@uschi_the_listener @_aD 12 minutes on manual with a steamer basket. It wouldn’t fit as big beet slices so undortunately I had to chunk it up.

@uschi_the_listener @_aD I ate about a third of it with butter. It was fine! Now I have a quart of steamed beet in the fridge for later. Might make soup.
@blnkfrnk @_aD Chrysler was always trying to reinvent his dad's borscht recipe. He never succeeded but we had lots of borscht. I recommend you look at a recipe for Harvard Beets. They are amazing and they have to be cut up small, in little dice, and you're halfway there.
