Does anyone remember the Natural Selection HL1 mod? Or the standalone NS2 game (I have it but never really got into it, I’m not sure why). It was pretty unique for the time, using the HL engine to create more or less a RTS game with player controlled units. Humans had one player become a commander who looked at the world from above and placed buildings, aliens didn’t (in the original game but did in NS2). There were also other insteresting gimmicks, like the basic alien could walk on walls, there were flying units, etc.

People are talking how Palword surpassed BG3, and meanwhile I didn’t yet finish Celeste or Signalis, and didn’t even start Disco Elysium (that I have bought long ago)
