I signed up on https://mastodon.social not knowing what to expect from fedi. Now I’m ready to move to a more interest-focused instance and actually enjoy the local timeline I’m on.
https://weirder.earth and https://qoto.org are both appealing. I guess I’ll dive into https://instances.social and make my careful decision tomorrow!

Call me pedantic but I find it unacceptable for musical instrument manufacturers to use the term “polyrhythm” to refer to polymeter.

很赞同您所说的！中国各产业（互联网、电视、书籍，等等）近年审查严苛程度即使在五年前都无法想象，导致大部分中国人所接受的「事实」中充满了宣传机器恶毒的 manipulation；而宣传机器在面对中国以外的普通民众又戴上另一幅伪善的面具。因此不乏对中国现状充满恐惧和耻辱的普通民众选择逃到 fedi，在宣传机器的领地之外重建我们的社交，我们的思考和文化。
