@rothko @KatLS @RickiTarr I think one of the worst parts of “just lose weight” is that presumably she’d have to exercise A LOT with busted knees! It would be so painful, and even if she even did lose what they want and the pain persists, then it’s “lose more weight”.
So it’s just pain for no reason and no end point because so many doctors believe there’s a kind of person who is made to hurt.

Because grift never comes at an inconvenient moment for con artists, let us all remember the one should never give any money or support to #ShaunKing, whose income has *tripled* in recent years, even as his so-called "non-profits" get less money as most people see their disposable income shrink every month.

In the immortal words:

Black Lives Matter activist Shaun King tripled income despite his group's revenue tumbling

Black Lives Matter movement activist Shaun King received a tripled income in 2021 from his social justice advocacy group despite the entity seeing its revenues plummet by almost 60%, records show.

@rgegriff Sounds like a guy who’s never felt the yell-spit of a customer hit his face while working a register.
Real dignified, that.

"A Tale of Two Sisters" 2003, Korean horror. More of a mind trip than gore; think creeping dread with bouts of fright.
"The Fall of the House of Usher" 1960, with Vincent Price! "Masque of the Red Death" 1964, also with Vincent Price is so good.
Not horror, but definitely a thriller, "Gaslight" 1944 with Ingrid Bergman. I KNEW the story going in and partway through I was doubting everything. Terrifying in its own way.
My friend Isaac has put in countless hours of unpaid labor for our movements bc he believes in us. In a recent work accident, a board was nailed to Isaac's hand, and he cannot afford to pay his medical bills. If you are able to help out: https://www.gofundme.com/f/the9e-medical-bills-for-isaac

You're pretty cool Mastodon, but I will reveal sensitive content photos and see:
- baked goods
- pets
- a beautiful landscape
- people fucking (tastefully, we're all very classy here)

None of these are bad, and I appreciate the consideration of those who choose to use "sensitive content" for a wide variety of things. But... I just don't want a penis jump scare. I want to go into that fully prepared.
