If you want to try the cutting edge releases, with the risk of bugs, you can use main.elk.zone and dev.phanpy.social instead.
After sorting through just about every browser-based Mastodon client I could find, I can't currently recommend anything other than @elk or @phanpy.
If you want a single column, familiar interface, Elk is probably what you want to use.
If you like the option of having a column mode, or you like seeing replies attached to the original post, try Phanpy. (If you need help getting settled in with Phanpy, let me know.)
I use Phanpy, with one major gripe: no settings toggle to allow media autoplay.
