What I’ve been thinking about recently is a server (maybe running @gotosocial) with different front-ends, e.g. pixelfed.server.net, mastodon.server.net, peertube.server.net… With one account to be followed on and to follow with. Then you could read certain types of posts only on certain front-ends or even read the posts from certain users only on certain front-ends.
One account, read everything, specialized and distinct interface.
