I am shocked when I see how low #MFA adoption is. Survey-based statistics range from 11%-26% usage. In 2022, #Microsoft reported that 22% of #AzureAD logins use MFA. This is crazy to me. MFA is a pain, it's annoying, it's repetitive. But multiple sources (including Microsoft and Google) claim it blocks over 99.9% of attacks. I turn it on for everything that matters because it is like paying insurance-a little cost for a lot of peace of mind.
Real vs hyped causes of deaths.
@alexr I can't. Once an eyebrow hair is noticeably longer than the rest it is summarily removed. It's almost obsession level with me, for no good reason.
@tylik @hacks4pancakes Wow! What a useful site. Let's just say that ours is not that.
@hacks4pancakes The tie is perfect.
@Jhaddix I sat in on this today and it seems potentially great. However, Microsoft has been touting AI infused defensive tools for a while. Both Microsoft 365 Defender and Sentinel have a strong AI component. It feels like Copilot is really a generative AI layer on top to make it easier to interface with the tool set. Not that this is a bad thing, but the heavy lifting is being done by existing AI. I could be wrong though.
@WendyMsGator that is some solid strategic thinking right there. We were the first to have kids in the family and my wife's sisters thought noisy toys were a hilarious gift. Vengeance rained down upon their head later as we has more disposable income and long memories when they had their kids.
@andrewfeeney came to read proverbs, got some sound physics
@trtmn that is just solid advice
If I can use metasploit in a simple lab environment does that raise me to the level of script kiddie? Script Kiddie intern? Or is script kiddie not a thing anymore? Or was script kiddie never a thing?
